This book is a review of the Finnish National Gallery's unique collection of almost one thousand woodblock prints. Of the private collections that contributed to it, the Antell collection was the most significant. Its acquisition dates to the early twentieth century. In addition to the gems of the Antell collection, later acquisitions by both the Ateneum and the Sinebrychoff Art Museum are featured. Travel with us back to the Edo period, under the cherry blossom!
